NETTIE SCHELLENBERG Peacefully, on Sunday, December 22, 2002, Nettie Schellenberg, widow of the late Jake, passed away at the River East Personal Care Home at the age of 93 years. Nettie is survived by two sons, Larry (Joanne) of Vancouver and Paul (Anne) of Winnipeg; grand-children, Blair (Michele) of Vancouver, Emma, Luke, Troy and Perry of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents; husband Jake; and sister Kay; and brother Henry. Besides spoiling her grandchildren, she also enjoyed Bingo, her garden and pursuing other activities at River East. In her later years, she enjoyed a good piece of chocolate to be shared with her family. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of River East Personal Care Home for all their care and compassion shown during her eight years. Funeral service will be held Friday, December 27 at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., at 2:00 p.m. with viewing held Thursday, December 26 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and prior to the service.
