PATRICIA FERNE McNIE (nee CHISHOLM) Patricia Ferne McNie passed away peacefully in Winnipeg, MB on December 24, 2002. Pat was born on January 11, 1932 in Calgary, AB. Pat was predeceased by her father Harold (1975) and her mother Helen (Peggy) in 1998. She is survived by her daughters, Lynda McNie and Gini Bergeron (Gene) as well as her grandchildren, Scott (Lori), Andrea and Ryan; and her great-grandson Dante. Pat loved travelling and spending time with her family. When Pat had her health she had come to enjoy her summers at the cottage in Matlock. She was a caring and warm person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her character and soul were taken away from us too early by Picks Disease. The family wishes to thank the staff of The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for their personal care and attention to Pat during the last months of her illness. The clock of life is wound but once, And no man has the power, To tell just when the hands will stop, Of what day - or what hour, Now is the only time you have, So live it with a will, Dont wait until tomorrow, The hands may then be still. A memorial service for Pat will be held on Saturday, December 28 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway with The Venerable P.C. Barnett officiating.
