Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD SCHWITEK Suddenly on December 21, 2002, at Redwater Health Centre, Radway, AB, Ron passed away at the age of 53 years. Ron was born on April 29, 1949 in Eriksdale, MB. He grew up in the Camper area. Ron was a mechanic and worked for Becker Drilling for many years. Ron loved a good time and especially loved to talk about his grandchildren, and tell stories of his good times out hunting with the boys. Ron married Rose in 1992 and they moved to Alberta. There he worked for Thorhild Freight Lines, and later due to his ill health, he spent his time at home, enjoying his garden, yard and fruit trees. Ron leaves to mourn his beloved wife Rose; three children, Monica (Steven), Lance (Shaena), and Lisa (Sheldon) Roses two children, Cory (Tammy) and Calvin (Tina) grandchildren, Samantha, Cheri-Lee, Taite, Ethan, Jessica, Allison, Bryanna and Natasha; his mother Dorothy; brothers, Neil (Marilyn), Grant (Shelly) sisters, Pat (Gilbert), Marilyn (Terry), and Kathy (Steven) also many nieces, nephews and friends; his mother-in-law Mary Dallalba; brother-in-law Bill (Iris) sisters-in-law, Lauralee and Susan (Gilbert). Ron was predeceased by his father George in 1974. A memorial service was held in Fort Saskatchewan, AB on December 23, 2002. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in the Camper Community Hall, with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB.
