Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBILL SENKIW With deep sadness we announce the passing of Bill Senkiw, on December 23, 2002, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born in Winnipeg on April 29, 1922. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia Elizabeth; and parents Mike and Eva. Bill leaves his son Bill; daughter Janet; daughter Barbera and son-in-law David; grandchildren, Kirsten, Brooke and Cole Hilderman, grandson Eric Lie and wife Kristy and great-grandson Riley; sister Helen; sister Julie and brother-in-law John Thorney and family; and many friends. Bill served overseas with the Brockville Rifles during the Second World War. He worked for Monarch Wear and later for Via/CNR Rail from which he retired. Bill was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hockey, baseball, bowling and golf. We wish to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of 5U2, Seven Oaks Hospital, especially Janet, Conchita and Laura. Viewing will take place on Sunday, December 29, between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m., also at Cropo Chapel. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bills memory to a charity of your choice.
