PAULINE SKOMOROH (nee MARKO) In loving memory of Pauline Skomoroh (nee Marko), aged 85, who passed away at the Dryden Regional Health Centre on December 26, 2002. Pauline was born on August 19, 1917, in Poplarfield, MB. Pauline moved to the Dryden area with her husband Michael in the early 1940s, where they opened and operated Skomoroh Motors, and later she opened and operated the El Dorado restaurant for a number of years until her retirement. Pauline was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1999; her parents; and brothers, John, Harry, Roy and Nick. Pauline will be sadly missed by her sons, Ed (Jean) and Don (Joyce) seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; one sister Mary; and one brother Mike. Visitation for the late Pauline Skomoroh will be held on Sunday, December 29 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with prayer services at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home with Rev. Father Luigi Filippini officiating. Interment will follow in the Dryden Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Dryden Regional Health Centre Equipment Fund through the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
