Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM "BILL" SYDNEY SCRIBNER After a lengthy illness, Bill passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2002, at the Misericordia Health Centre, at the age of 84 years. He is survived by his loving wife Adeline, of 55 years of marriage; daughters, Lauri-Ann Boden (Ross), and Alison Joy Barton (Chris) grandsons, Nicholas and Alexander Barton; nephew Douglas; niece Sharon, and their children; and cousin Tom Prosken (Ada). He was predeceased by his father John; mother Annie, who passed away on December 11, 2002, at the age of 103 years; and his sister, Nettie Bobbie. Bill was born in the vicinity of Sandy Lake, MB on November 29, 1918. He served in the military during the Second World War. After the War he worked for the Postal Services until his retirement in 1983. Bill was a 41 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 141. Our family would like to thank the staff at the Health Sciences Centre and the Misericordia Health Centre for their kind and loving care for the past seven months.
