JOHN (JOHNNY) BARENZ John Hans Richard Barenz of Starbuck, MB, peacefully passed away on December 25, 2002, Left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda; children, Kimberley, Scott (Crystal), Sean (Maureen), Craig (Resa), Allison (Mark) and Garth; grand-children, Andrea and Shasta; his mother Marie; sisters, Agnes (Elmer), Janet (Walt), Hazel (Norman) brothers, Peter (Edith), Paul (Pam) many loving nieces and nephews and extended families and friends. He was predeceased by his father John and his first wife Edna. John was born and raised in Headingley, MB, then married and moved to Starbuck. He attended Phoenix School and later went to MIT. John worked for Raber Electric and then Campbells Soup. He later went on to start his own electrical business. He enjoyed spending his leisure time at his summer cottage at Lee River and on the golf course with his family. During his lifetime, John spent many hours volunteering his time and expertise to his church and community. Johns funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Pauls Parish in Starbuck, interment will follow. The family wishes to thank the staff of 3 East in the Riverview Health Centre. You were "Angels of Mercy".
