EDITH ELIZABETH HODGSON Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Edith Hodgson of Carman, formerly of Roland, MB passed away at the Carman Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 26, 2002 at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn one daughter Karen; two sons, Clint and Kevin; and their families. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends. Edith was predeceased by her husband Glyn in 1988, and one grandson Michael Gillespie in 2002. A family graveside will be held at the Fairview Cemetery in Roland, MB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of her late nephew Dale Sweaney to the ALS Society of Canada (Lou Gehrigs) 265 Yorkland Blvd., Suite 300, Toronto, ON M2J 1S5. The tide recedes, but leaves behind bright seashells in the sand. The sun goes down, But gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, And yet it echoes on in sweet refrain ...
