WILLIAM (BILL) BELEY -
Date of Passing: Dec 15, 2002
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) BELEY 1923 - 2002 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our deeply loved husband, dad and grandfather on December 15, 2002 in Tucson, AZ. Although it was hard to lose Bill so far away, Tucson was a very special second home to him. Bill derived much pleasure from Arizona friends, the mountains and "critters" of the desert. Thank you Libby, Rene, Pilar, Arlene, Denise, Dagmar, Fathers Al and Isaac and Drs. Favre, Natrogen and Spooner and all those who helped ease Bills suffering and that of the family at his side. Bill was born and raised in Stonewall, MB. He is survived by his life-long partner and wife of 51 years (Denise) and his daughters, Jan (Cam) Christopher and Andrew, Leslie Ann (Henry) Monica and Matthew; and Bills niece Shirley Unrau (John) and family. Bills 30 years at the University of Manitoba brought him a great feeling of accomplishment, always in regards to the students who passed through his lecture halls. The teaching aspect of his career was his pride and joy. Bills life revolved around his family. His gentle loving ways will give us strength to carry on without him, but oh how he will be missed. Bill was non-judgmental and always ready to give the benefit of the doubt to any situation, a rare and beautiful gift in todays world. We will always look to the sky and the heavens whenever we hear an airplane passing overhead, as Bill spent many happy times admiring all types of flying machines, at air shows, or just on any given day, for no special reason at all. Life is a gift, and we thank the Lord for the gift of Bill, Dad, Grampa and Uncle Bill. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family memorial service at St. Timothys Roman Catholic Church.
