KATHLEEN BERRY On Saturday, December 28, 2002 at Charleswood Care Centre, Kathleen Berry of Winnipeg passed away at the age of 90. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband William in 1988 and by her son Raymond in 1969. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Sheila Berry, her grandchildren, David Berry (Margaret Semple), Linda Mears (Keith) and Douglas Berry (Ray Sherwood) and great-grandchildren, Michael and Kyle Berry and Jenna, Liam and Brett Mears. Kathleen is also survived by her sister Ann Reimer and her brother Alvin Miller (Mary). For many years, Kathleen and Bill Berry owned and operated Acme Welding, a sheet metal and fabrication business, where Kathleen was the office manager. During this time, Kathleen and Bill enjoyed spending weekends and holidays at their West Hawk Lake summer home. The family is grateful for the many years of dedicated care Kathleen received from all the staff at Thorvaldson Care Centre and Charleswood Care Centre. The funeral service for Kathleen Berry will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg (west of the Perimeter Highway) on Tuesday, December 31 at 12:30 p.m. Viewing will take place before the service. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
