EMILY VICTOR Peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2002, Emily, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at the Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 80 years. Mom was born on August 30, 1922 in Churchbridge, SK. She was predeceased by her first husband Marshall Hamilton, her second husband William Victor; her parents, Mary and Joseph Antosh; brothers, Joe, Henry, Frank and Charlie; and sisters, Rose and Elsie. Mom will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by daughters, Dolores (Glen) Laye of Selkirk, Bernice (Allan) Hamilton and Eunice (Michel) Aquin all of Winnipeg; sons, John (Marie) of Winnipeg and Greg of Mission, BC; grandchildren, Tammy (Bob), Jaclyn, Daniel, Sharla (Rick), Brian, Brandon, Jennifer (Tom), Christopher, Jeffrey, Steven, Elizabeth, Phillip, Troy, Samantha, Serena, Jocelyn, Carlie, Shianne and Taryn; great-grandchildren, Kyra, Makayla, Ethan and Shaylyn. Mom is also survived by her brothers, Jim, John (Janet), Rudolph (Ann) and George (Loretta) and sisters, Gloria (Keith) and Ann (Stan). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 30 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Interment will follow in the St. Clements Cemetery. The family would like to thank Selkirk Home Care, especially Lorraine and Tonya Thomas for the excellent care given to Mom in the last four years. Your kindness will always be appreciated. Words cannot express our gratitude towards Dr. Antonenko and the nurses at the Selkirk General Hospital for their concern, compassion and kindness at this difficult time. There will always be a heartache and often a silent tear, But always precious memories of the days we had you here, We will hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, To walk with us throughout our lives until we meet again. Mom, you will forever be in our hearts. Rest in Peace Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
