Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLIBBYE CONNER ROSE After a lengthy illness, the family announces with great sadness the passing of Libbye Conner Rose, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, on December 29, 2002. A memorial service was held on January 1, 2003, at Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, with interment at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery, Cantor Gerry Daien presiding. Libbye is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Irving (Sonny) and her dear sister-in-law Lillian Stoller. She is also survived by her three sons, Perry Rose and wife Marlene Reiss, of Winnipeg; Daniel Rose and wife Karla and their children, Robert, Shayla and Jakob, of Sacramento, CA; and son Scott Rose and wife Teresa and their children, Christopher, Brandon and Katherine, also of Sacramento. Libbye was predeceased by her parents Belle and Ben Conner, of Winnipeg; and her sister Sheila Conner, of Toronto. Pallbearers included Lawrence Stoller, Marc Fayerman, Elliot Katz, Scott Rose, Perry Rose and Daniel Rose. Honorary pallbearer was Kenneth Halprin. Libbyes life will forever be an inspiration to her family. She will be sadly missed and always remembered by her many friends and relatives. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society or to a charity of your choice.
