KATHLEEN WALSH (nee HYNES) Peacefully with her family at her side, on Saturday, December 28, 2002, at St. Boniface Hospital, Kathleen Walsh passed away at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husband Harry and sister Dorothy. To celebrate her life she leaves behind her daughter Marilyn (Joe) Castan of California; son Michael of Edmonton; grandchildren, Patricia, Shirley, Jimmy (Donna), Kimberly (David) and Shauna; great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Cassandra, Shaina, Christopher, Nicole and Cody; nieces and nephews. Kathleen lived at Villa Cabrini for many years. Her last residence was with Thorvaldsons where the loving care given was greatly appreciated by her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. with Fr. Sam Argenziano officiating. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. R. Lotocki and all the staff on 3B, St. Boniface Hospital for all the wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Id like the memory of me to be a happy one. Id like to leave an afterglow Of smiles when life is done. Id like to leave an echo Whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times And bright sunny days.
