ROBERT JAMES McKENNY II It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother and uncle. Bob passed away quietly on December 29, 2002 at 10:00 p.m. at the Manitoba Rehabilitation Hospital in Winnipeg. Bob was predeceased by mother Helen McKenny; father Robert James McKenny; and nieces, Glenda Carlson of Winnipeg and Penny Hunter of Edmonton. Bob leaves to mourn sisters, Frances Glesby (Paul Pelletier), Lillian McKenny; and brothers, Russ McKenny and Ralph McKenny. Also numerous nieces, nephews and their families; great-nieces, nephews and their families. Bob was engineer and superintendent of the Aboriginal Centre on Higgins Avenue since it opened. He was very proud of "His Building". A memorial service will be held at the Aboriginal Centre on Friday, January 3 at 2:00 p.m. Sincere thanks to Fr. Ron McCullough; Merrilene McCormack - Aboriginal Centre; the nurses of the 5th floor Rehabilitation Hospital. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to CancerCare Manitoba.
