She was surrounded by her family. Marcelle was predeceased by her husband Pierre in 1990; as well as her brothers, Maxime, Paul; and sisters, Denise, Yvette and Jeanne. She is survived by her sisters, Laure Rocan, Louise Allard; and brother Maurice Rocan; son Jean (Paulette Dorge) and daughter Diane Reitmeier (Alan) as well as her six granddaughters, Danielle, Michelle, Lynn, Ginette, Karen and Lisa. Marcelle was born in 1912 in St. Boniface, where she resided her whole life. She was educated at lAcademie St. Joseph and in 1944 she married Pierre Gaudry. During her career, she worked at Modern Dairies, Sovereign Life, Radio CKSB and Institutional Employees Union. Mom had many endearing qualities. She was patient, accepting, open-minded, fun-loving, and she always found a way to live life to its fullest. A great friend, Mom was a good listener, sincere, caring, and always there for those who needed her. She enjoyed spending time with her ever-widening circle of friends at LAcceuil Colombien, whether she was playing bingo, "sacs de sable" or having coffee and a smoke. Always the life of the party, Mom loved dancing, music and a good time. Her strong Catholic faith helped her through the many obstacles of life. Moms sisters, Laure and Louise, as well as her lifelong friend Gertrude Poirier were a big part of her daily life. Her devotion to her children and grandchildren was unparalleled and the family bond was immeasurable. Not a day went by where Mom didnt go for coffee or a meal with one of us. She made a special point of speaking to all of us every day. Mom will be missed by all those whose life she touched.
