THEODORE (TEDDY) HARASYM(IW) It is with great sadness that the family announces Theodore (Teddy) Harasym(iw) passing away December 30, 2002 at the Grace Hospital. Predeceased by his mother and father, Jessie and William; brother Bill and brother John. Teddy will be lovingly remembered by his four children, Ted, Roger, Cindy, Blain; brother Mike; sisters, Anne and Mary; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Teddy was a unique person. He had his own style and lived life to his fullest. He was an Upholsterer, Electrician and quite the handyman who loved being outdoors feeding birds and squirrels. We still think the dog and cat liked him best. He decorated his daughters yard with lights, and enjoyed making fires. Teddy liked to entertain, and spared no expense. Teddy coached junior hockey, baseball, and played amateur hockey with the Thompson Hawks. He skated until he was 71. Teddy was a generous man who donated to the Salvation Army and Royal Purple with the help of his children, but cutting and selling Christmas Trees. Service will be held on Monday, January 6 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ardal-Geysir Lutheran Church at Arborg, MB. Burial will be held at the Okno Cemetery. Pastor Otto Christensen officiating. Those who wish to make donations, make to the Salvation Army or Cancer Care Manitoba. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

Grandpo was very loving. He made me feel so special and part of the family right from the beginning. I was not related by blood but I will always consider him family. I miss him and love him very much - Posted by: Cheri Harasym (Married to Grandson John) on: Dec 28, 2013
