Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDNA LORRAINE PARK 1923 - 2002 Peacefully on December 22, 2002, Edna Lorraine Park passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 79 years. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents; her husband John; her son, Jay and a brother Ken Olson. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Margaret Olson and Dorothy Park; as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends. Lorraine, affectionately known as Doll, was born on July 7, 1923, in Merryfield, SK. She came to Winnipeg to attend business college. It was around this time that she was united in marriage with John Park. Most of her working career was spent at the Grace General Hospital in medical records before her retirement in 1988. Lorraine was a longtime member of the Sturgeon Creek United Church. A special thanks is extended to the staff on T3 at Deer Lodge Centre and especially to Lorraines "special angel," Thelma Sheldon, for the kind and considerate care given over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Winnipeg, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 as tokens of remembrance. Cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held Monday, January 6, 2003, at 1:30 p.m., at Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Ave. Interment and reception to follow.
