JOHN WATT Peacefully at the Middlechurch Home on Saturday, December 28, 2002, John passed away at the age of 92 years. Born in Huntly, Scotland, in 1910, he came to Canada with his mother in 1929. He trained as a printer and was able to get work in the Ashdown Printing Division, where he worked until the 50s, when he went with the Isrealite Press which later became Universal Printers. He retired from Universal in 1976 as Vice-President. Married in 1936 to Margaret Fordyce, who predeceased him in 1987, John is survived by his children, Joanne (Lenny Leven), Leslie (Bill Olson) and Sandy (Pat). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Shauna and Daniel Leven, Jon (Monique) Olson, Rob Olson (and his fiancee Elisabeth) and Erica (Colin Sharman), Cameron (Karen) Watt, Sheri (Ken Dinnen) and Sean Watt. Also four great-grandchildren, Jessica and Jordan Watt, Aliya Olson and Chelsea Dinnen. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel. Hwy. No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Middlechurch Home, 280 Balderson Rd., West St. Paul, MB R4A 4A6, Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3, or to a charity of your choice.
