STEVE KOZIUK JR. On Wednesday, January 1, 2003, Steve Koziuk Jr. passed away at the St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 59 years. Steve is survived by his wife Eva; stepmother Annie, nephews, Jeff (Janice), Justin (Marla) great-nieces, MacKenzie and Madison. He will be sadly missed by his father and mother-in-law, Norman and Marlies Pooley; his brothers-in-law, Peter, Anthony, Gerald, Steven, Bernard; his sister-in-law Ursula and their families; many cousins from the Stroich family; honorary niece and nephews; his buddies Tina, Duke and Tiger. Steve was predeceased by his mother Helen, father Steve, brother Len. Steve was an avid golfer and was a longtime member of St. Boniface Golf Club where he made many lifetime friends. Steve was also a member of Le Chateau and La Verendrye bowling leagues. Steve was employed with CNR as a Locomotive Engineer for 27 years and with CMR for 3 years. Steve was a generous and giving man who donated his time to Meals on Wheels and delivering Christmas hampers. One of the greatest pleasures in his life was taking his dogs for walks. Each year Steve and his golfing buddies would go to Texas on their yearly golfing trip which he looked forward to. Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 6 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood. The family wishes to thank St. Boniface Hospital, 5th Floor, 5B and the ICU staff, and all family and friends for their love and support.
