VICTOR JAMES ROWE "VE4GJ" May 23, 1918 - January 2, 2003 Passed away peacefully at Tuxedo Villa on January 2, 2003. Victor was predeceased by his beloved wife Mabel; son Garth; and two brothers, Reg and John. He leaves to cherish his memory, son Allan and daughter-in law Pauline; grandchildren, Grant (Dawn Rowntree), Heather (Darryl Fahlman), James (Marilyn) and Darlene; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Liam and Morgan Fahlman; and daughter-in-law Evelyn. Victor was a long-time resident of Lac du Bonnet and Winnipeg. He enjoyed his Amateur Radio Operator status as VE4GJ since 1934. He was a member of the Charleswood Masonic Lodge and Charleswood Legion. The family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff of Station 2 at Tuxedo Villa for their care and support. Cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance will be held at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance, on Monday, January 6 at 10:00 a.m. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 500-55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8.
