Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Mom, December 31, 2023 is 20 years since you left us. Not a day goes by without thinking of you. Do I miss you? Maybe a few times but I do not have any regrets, I do not wish for you to come back. Your time of life was allocated. One by one we must leave this world. For you, you didn't deserve the things you went through. Firstly your mom when you were 6 then all your siblings, then your dad when you were 13, then 3 of your children, your aunties, uncles, your grandparents. You were alone. But you reunited now and when our time is done here on earth, we shall reunite to be with each other for eternity and that is the reason I do not miss you because I have that hope! - Posted by: Alvin Thompson (Mother) on: Dec 30, 2023

  • Mom, as the year of 2020 is coming to a close, it will be 18 years since you left this earth. You were only 76 years old, 6 weeks short of 77 years. This year you would have been 94 years. We can play with all these numbers, but nothing matters except the fact that Jesus took you home at your appointed time. You are in a better place where you will sleep no more, a place where there are no more tears, no more pain, no more sickness. I would never wish you back. Am happy where you are. Rejoicing for eternity in the presence of the Kings of Kings, Jesus Christ who died for all of us to obtain eternal life. I will meet you again some day when my appointed time is up. And there I will rejoice with you! - Posted by: Alvin Thompson (Son) on: Dec 30, 2020

  • It,s been 17 years today. Yes I remember the date and time you left from this world. And no I do not regret your leaving. It was better - you suffered too much. I often wished I could take your loneliness and pain away. But One mightier than me took you in His arms, safe, secure until we meet again. Nimama thanks for everything. - Posted by: Alvin Thompson (Son) on: Dec 31, 2019

  • Though I think of you every day, the anniversary of your passing is always special. Never did I know that day we would live across the street from where you left us. I know it's God's way of bringing me comfort for my loss. I will always be happy for you Mom. I have no regrets! - Posted by: Alvin Thompson ((son)) on: Dec 31, 2013

  • Mom, its been 10 years since your soul left this earth and you went to claim your inheritance in Heaven. I walked with you in life through happy times. I watched through your sufferings here on earth. Better that you went home. Better that you suffer no more. Now you are rejoicing in Heaven for eternity! Praise be to God! - Posted by: Alvin Thompson (son) on: Dec 30, 2012
