RICHARD MARK PAUL JOSEPH VANDAL Suddenly on December 31, 2002, Richard passed away as he lived, quietly and peacefully. Richard was predeceased by his mother Flore and his father Germain, many tantes et oncles too numerous to mention, as well as his close buddies Whiskey-Joe and Nicky. Richard was born on August 5, 1960 in St. Boniface and was a longtime resident of Fort Rouge. He most recently worked at Display Fixtures and enjoyed the opportunity to work very much. Richard had chronic bronchitis from birth and struggled to breathe for most of his life. Richard was a gentleman and the consummate "gentle man". He loved all and was loved by all who knew him. In fact, Richard loved all living things. There was not a dog or a cat that crossed paths with Richard, stray or domicile, who wasnt deeply loved by him or vice versa. He was also an avid bird watcher and rounded out his recreation by being an authoritative and avid movie watcher. Richard spent many years providing loving care for his mother and father. In later years he was the prime "baby sitter" for his sister Darlene. He leaves to mourn his passing his sister Claudette; brother Raymond (Marguerite) sisters, Darlene (Christopher), and Suzette (Kevin) nieces and nephews, Destry, Louis Jr., Kristie (John), Lacey (Ben) and Nicole; and great-nieces and great-nephew, Daniella, Zack, and Georgia; as well as very special friends, Louis Sr., Theresa, Gwyn, Kathe, Al, Susan, Cecile, and Sonya. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2003 at Holy Family Church at 778 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richards memory to the Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg R2L 1X3. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220
