She was predeceased by her husband Edward; her parents, Charlotte and Axel Hansen; son Donald; brothers, Robert, Norman, Peter; sisters, Jeanne, Helen, Hilda and by brothers-in-law, Mac, Billy Joe, Alfred and John. Anne was born on May 11, 1921 and was raised in Great Falls, MB. She married Edward in 1944 and they raised their family there. She worked as a cook in Gillam for quite a few years. Mom enjoyed cooking and knitting for everyone. In her younger years she loved to curl (best skip in the area). Mom was an avid sports fan and always cheered for her favourite teams and God forbid if anyone was against them. The family extends their thanks to the Pine Falls Hospital Staff for the wonderful care they gave our mother on the many trips she made for dialysis. She spoke highly of you. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Annes life will be held on Sunday, January 5 at 2:00 p.m. from Russell Funeral Homes, Beausejour, MB with Fr. Owen Steeves officiating. "Death is the end of a life, not a relationship." We love you Mom, you will be in our hearts forever. RUSSELL FUNERAL HOMES LTD & CREMATORIUM of Beausejour, MB are in care of arrangements. Call 1-866-424-6271 (toll free) or 268-2263. Courtesy parking is available in the rear.
