Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH BLANK On December 18, 2002, Elizabeth Blank, widow of Archie Blank and our beloved mother passed away. She leaves to mourn her children, Sheldon (Irene), Sherri-Ricki (Martin Erlichman), Bonnie; grandchildren, Callie and Brandon Blank; sister-in-law Elizabeth Krell and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Archie on December 1, 1999; her parents, Beryl and Clara Kreger and brothers, Soloman and Sam Kreger. Mommy was born December 21, 1919, in Winnipeg. She went to Aberdeen, Talmud Torah and St. Johns High Schools, all the while developing her talents to become a superb concert pianist. Then one day a new boy moved in next door. That boy was Archie and she was smitten the first time she looked at him. A few years went by, Elizabeth graduated from high school and went on to complete her degree in music obtaining her L.R.S.M. By that time there were plans for a wedding and what was to become, in her opinion, the most important part of her life. Our mother felt her greatest achievement was to be a devoted loving wife and mother. Instead of playing public concerts, her beautiful music was saved for us. Later on in life, travelling with her husband and often with her children brought much joy. We all cherished every second that we spent together. Our mother was a gentle, caring, giving, kind, intelligent and elegant person. Her quiet and loving demeanour complemented our fathers adventurous and exuberant personality. As it has been said, she was the moon and he was the sun and neither could be without the other. Our world will be a much sadder place without her. We would like to thank Audrey Wilson for her many years of compassionate care to both our mother and father. Many thanks to Beryl Cole, Pat Johnston and Eric Johnston for all their help and support. Our gratitude to Rabbi Allan Green and the pallbearers, Dr. Arthur Blank, Lanny Silver, Larry Tabachnick, Sheldon Altman, Simon Rich, Dr. Sholom Coodin, Dr. Sheppy Coodin and Danny Hrynk. Thank you to our family and friends. Donations to honour Elizabeths memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
