CATHERINE ZADOROZNY (nee NEIL) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on January 2, 2003 of Catherine Zadorozny, aged 88 years. Kay leaves to cherish her memory her husband Michael of 62 years; her daughter Elaine; her brother Bill (Jo), sister-in-law Nell and brother-in-law Michael; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Frances, father Jack, sister Mary and brother Ted. Kay was born, raised and educated in Winnipeg. In her younger years she was a very good athlete playing baseball with the C.U.A.C. Blues and in her later years she enjoyed watching many different sports on TV with Skipper and Elaine. She dedicated her life to caring for her husband and daughter. She was a long time parishioner of Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church. Auntie Kay will be forever remembered as a kind, loving person who shared her famous "chocolate chip cookies", great "chicken soup" with the thick noodles and the best "kutia" ever made. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1001 Grant Ave. with Rev. Mark Gnutel and Rev. Gerald Langevin officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In memory of Kay, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
