ERNEST (ERNIE) CLIFFORD JANZEN 1952 - 2003 Suddenly on January 2, 2003 at the Health Sciences Centre, in Winnipeg, Ernie died at the age of 50 years. Ernie is lovingly remembered by his brother Harvey of Brandon, sister Irene and husband Bruce Finkel of Wetaskiwin, AB and their daughter Cathy of the Cayman Islands, his brother Ron and wife Kim of Carman, MB and the entire Graysville Community. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Annie; and sister Margie. Ernie was born on June 19, 1952 in Winkler and lived all his life on the farm south of Graysville. He always worked on the farm with Dad and took over the farm in 1973 when Mom and Dad moved to Carman. Ernie stayed busy on the farm, but always had time to help his friends and neighbours. He would lend a hand to anyone who needed it. During the winter he spent a lot of time blowing snow in Graysville and for the neighbours. He farmed till 2000 when he decided to rent his land out. He took a part-time job on a potato farm at Graysville, which he really enjoyed. Ernie will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. Funeral service will be held from the Carman United Church in Carman, on Tuesday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Catherine Waldie officiating. Interment will take place in the Graysville Cemetery, Graysville. Memorial donations may be made to the Carman Area Foundation Inc., Box 160, Carman, MB R0G 0J0 Doyles Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
