Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKAROL KWIATEK Peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2003 in Riverview Health Centre at the age of 90 years. Dad leaves to cherish his memory, three sons, Adam (Ann), Stan (Carolyn), Peter (Pam) grandchildren, David, Dana, Drew, Colleen, Theresa, Sherry, Peter Jr. and Belinda; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Christa, Hope, Haley, Anna, Miranda, Bryce, Brighton and Kaynen and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his wife Rose, one daughter Judy and one sister Rose. Dad was born November 8, 1912 in Mlynow, Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1948. He moved from Dugald, MB to Transcona in 1950. Dad worked the section gang for C.N.R., lumber camps, Canada Creosote (Domtar Chemical) and Princess Auto where he retired in 1977. Tatu was a multi-talented, multi-faceted individual. He enjoyed woodworking, arts and crafts and puttering in the workshop he built. Family was very important to him - the candy bowl was always handy for the grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Highway No. 1 East at Navin Road. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Kwiatek, Doug Gordon, Drew Kwiatek, Peter Kwiatek Jr., Jordan Kwiatek, and Derek Stark. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3G 9Z9 or Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4.
