Verne was predeceased by his parents and infant brother Clifford, sisters, Estella McIntyre, Eunice Martin and Grace Ross; and brother Nelson Mooney. He is survived by his wife Ruth of Cartwright, son Bill, daughter-in-law Diane and granddaughters, Lauren and Haley Mooney; and daughter Dr. Wendy Mooney, all of Winnipeg; sisters, Isla Hodgson of Killarney, Eda (Lloyd) Ellis of Breton, AB and Helen Kemp of Cartwright; brothers, Tom (Marie) Mooney of Regina, SK, Gordon (Audrey) Mooney of Brandon and Lorne (Loretta) Mooney of Killarney; and many special nieces and nephews and their families.
