LILLIAN MAUDE PHIZACKLEA (nee PEARCE) 1903 - 2002 After a long and eventful life, Lillian Maude Phizacklea passed away peacefully with family by her side. Lillian was born in St. Blazey, Cornwall, England, and came to Winnipeg at the age of eight with her family. She travelled extensively with her daughter Joan and son-in-law Gordon Horner. She contributed a great deal to the lives of her family. She was predeceased by her husband Harry; parents, John and Victoria; sister Winnifred; brother John; sisters-in-law, Ivy and Beth Newell; and sadly in recent years, her beloved daughter Joan; son-in-law Sandy; grandson Glen; and niece Alva Marner. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Dorothy Sanderson; granddaughters, Brenda (John), Dale (Les) great-grandchildren, Erin, Heather, Melissa and Douglas; son Alan and daughter-in-law Shirley; granddaughters, Sherrill, Dianne (Tony), Krista (Bruce), Alanna; great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Steven, Sean, Mark; cousins, Kathy Bray of St. Blazey, Betty Bland, Carolyn and Earl Johnson. Special thanks to son-in-law Gordon for his loving care and attention during her latter years. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the management and staff of the Salvation Army Golden West Centennial Lodge for their kindness during her stay. A special thanks to Doreen Hildebrandt. Memorial service and interment will be held at a later date.
