OLGA YOUNG (ROGOWSKI) 1920 - 2003 It is with deep sorrow and sadness we announce the passing away of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (baba) on January 2, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer in Winnipeg. Mom was born in Shellmouth, MB August 14, 1920 and the family eventually settled in Melville, SK where she met her husband Raymond Edward Young. They were soon married and lived in Thunder Bay, ON. Left to mourn her death are her children, Warren Rogowski (Ren) of Thunder Bay, Alan Young (Jo-Ann) and Raye-Lynn Jean (Francios) of Winnipeg; brothers, Ben Rogowski (Eleanor) of Temecula, CA, Bill Rogowski of Maple Ridge, BC and Ray Rogowski (Shirley) of Thunder Bay. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mom was predeceased by her husband Raymond Edward Young, mother Catherine and father Steve Rogowski. Sisters, Jean and Mary; and brothers, John and Nick. Mom enjoyed her time spent with her family and will be greatly missed but will always be in our heart. We love you Mom. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre on 3 East for all their effort that was done to make Mom as comfortable as possible before passing away. In lieu of flowers, we ask donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Cremation has taken place and a private funeral will be held in Thunder Bay at a later date.
