SIMONE TRUDEAU (nee DUPRAT) 1902 - 2003 Peacefully, on January 6, 2003, Simone passed away at the Valade Care Home. She was predeceased by her husband Roland (1987) and her sisters, Irene, Cecile, Gertrude and Lucille and her brothers, Eugene, Irenee, Armand and Andre. She is survived by a brother Gerard (Montreal). She will be lovingly remembered by her four children, Rolande (Fernand Girard), Guy (Eleanore Haywood), Renee (Gordon Culham) and Andre (Mariette Lavergne) her ten grandchildren, Roger (Helyn), Michelle (Ron), Paul (Carmen), Nicole (Bob), Marc (Lena), Andrea, Danielle, Dominique, Danelle and Josee and her eight great-grandchildren, Elliot, Evan, Paul, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Patrick, William and Tyler. Simone was born in Durham, QC in June 1902 and with her family moved to Saskatchewan in 1916. Her whole life was devoted to family, husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on January 11 at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. by Fr. Ron Leger, csv. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the social activities of Foyer Valade, 450 River Rd. or to a charity of ones choice. The family wishes to thank the staff of Foyer Valade (first floor) for their great care and devotion towards their residents. Le troisieme enfant dune famille de dix, Simone naquit a Durham, QC, le 5 juin 1902. La famille Duprat demenagea a Gravelbourg, SK en 1916. Simonde fut precedee dans la mort par son epoux Roland Trudeau (1987) et par ses freres et soeurs, Eugene, Irene, Irenee, Armand, Cecile, Andre, Gertrude et Lucille. Elle est survecue par son frere Gerard, ses quatre enfants, Rolande (Fernand Girard), Guy (Eleanore Haywood), Renee (Gordon Culham) et Andre (Mariette Lavergne), ses 10 petits-enfants Roger (Helyn), Michelle (Ron), Paul (Carmen), Nicole (Bob), Marc (Lena), Andrea, Danielle, Dominique, Danelle et Josee, et ses 8 arriere-petits-enfants Elliot, Evan, Paul, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Patrick, William and Tyler. Les funerailles seront celebrees le samedi 11 janvier, a 10 h 30 en lEglise Sainte-Famille, 778, rue Archibald, Saint-Boniface, par le Rev. Pere Ron Leger, csv. La famille remercie sincerement tout le personnel du premier etage du Foyer Valade pour leur bonte, leur devoument et leur professionnalisme dans tous les soins. Au lieu de lenvoi de fleurs, un don pourrait etre fait pour les activites sociales du Foyer Valade, 450, chemin River, Winnipeg, MB R2M 5M4, ou a une charite au choix.
