FELIX PAUL DESROSIERS Suddenly, on Monday, January 6, 2003, Felix Desrosiers passed away at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 82 years. Felix was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years, Marie-Ange (nee Phaneuf) in November of 2000. Left to cherish his memory are, his son Richard (Shirley) Desrosiers; daughters, Claudette (Marcel) Jubinville, and Pauline Gagne, (and the pups) grandson Chris Desrosiers; granddaughters, Sherrie-Lynn (Ben) Flynn and Marcy Labossiere; sister Margaret Werbin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Felix had a zest for life and his unique personality, contagious to all, will never be forgotten. Felix was known for these two expressions: "Sheep Dog" and "I did it my way". Felix worked for Acklands Granger for many years and at the same time he owned and operated Dero Equipment until the ripe young age of 80. Felix was a man of many talents, president of Big Brothers, active in the church, was on several committees, painted, played guitar and violin and accomplished anything he set his mind to. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at the Waverly Manor and the Victoria Hospital. A special thanks to the Winnipeg Firefighters and Paramedic service with their quick and caring response. Funeral services will be held at the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. in St. Boniface on Thursday, January 9 at 2:00 p.m. Fr. Ron Leger will celebrate the memorial mass. Interment will take place in the St. Boniface Cemetery, Archibald Street, following the mass. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so, may make a donation in Felixs memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Ste. 200, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6.
