IRIS MARGUERITE STALKER (nee POWELL) Peacefully in the early morning of January 6, 2003, Iris Stalker left us in Sherwood Park, AB. Iris was predeceased by her husband Robert (Rab) Stalker. She is survived by four sons, Ken (Ruby) Robson, Doug (Anne) Robson, Robert (Chris) Stalker, Jim (Allison) Stalker; five grandchildren, Karen (Jeff) Decaluwe, Leanne (Cory) Booth, Brian (Roxanne) Robson, Cathy Stalker, Mark (Claudette) Stalker and Andrew Stalker; and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sister Joyce (Fred) McLeod and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Iris was born in Winnipeg, MB on February 5, 1925. She attended St. Johns Cathedral Anglican Church and worked for the Winnipeg School Board for 25 years. In October of 1994, Iris and Rab retired to Grimshaw, AB. In 1995 Iris moved to the Strathcona Care Centre, Sherwood Park. In keeping with Iris wishes cremation has taken place and she will rest with her parents, Malcolm and Rosina Powell at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Winnipeg. Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 13 at 12:30 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg.
