IVY LILLIAN MOORE Ivy Lillian Moore passed away suddenly at Poseidon Care Centre on Monday, January 6, 2003. Ivy was born November 1, 1909 in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Agnes (nee Falls) Moore; her sisters, Mona and Ethel; and her brother Al. She is survived by her sister-in-law Irene Moore, two nephews, one niece and their families, all of the Ottawa, ON area. Ivy was employed by the Manitoba Liquor Control Commission for all her working career. She was a member of Whyte Ridge Baptist Church (formerly Grant Park Baptist). Ivy was a very independent person until she suffered a broken hip in 1995. Since February 1996 she was a resident of Poseidon Care Centre. Many thanks to the 1st and 5th floor staff for their excellent care. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 13 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, viewing will be one-half hour prior to service.
