Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE MADELINE FAIRBAIRN Alice passed away peacefully in Winnipeg on Sunday, January 5, 2003 at the age of 90. She had been a resident of the Golden Door Geriatric Centre for the past year, and previously lived at Catherine Place in Winnipeg. Alice was born in Massey, ON in May 1912, and later moved to Toronto where she spent most of her life. In Toronto, she was active in her church and an enthusiastic member of several bowling leagues until well into her 80s. Alice is survived by her son Nelson Kelcey (Barbara) of Winnipeg; grandsons, Brian Kelcey (Toronto) and Sean Kelcey (Gagetown, NB) brother (Nelson) Harry Fairbairn of Sudbury; and sister Dorothy Spooner (Milford) of Lee Valley, ON. Alices wishes were that her cremated remains be buried in the family plot in Massey. A memorial service will be held at St. Georges Anglican Church, Esponola, ON, at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 18. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
