ELLEN MARGARET WEIK (nee ROSS) Suddenly on January 8, 2003 at her home, Ellen Margaret Weik (nee Ross) of Arborg, MB. Ellen was born in Tuelon, MB on October 10, 1942. She grew up on the family farm in Hodgson. In 1970 she married her loving husband Willie. They made their home in Homer, MB. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Willie; daughter Melody and husband Norm Huta and dear grandson Bret; son David all of Arborg; mother Merle Ross of Fisher Personal Care Home; brother Alvin, wife Wanda and their sons, Adam, Corey and Perry of Hodgson; mother and father-in-law Charles and Helen Weik of Arborg; five sisters-in-law; seven brothers-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her father Mel Ross in 2000. Ellen was the most kind and loving person. Her family was her life and she took great pleasure in spending time with them and doing all she could for them. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A private family graveside service will be held at Homer Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the Christian Fellowship Church, Arborg. Pastor Tom Gerbrandt and Jake Goertzen will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
