HELEN MAE (NELL) BISHOP Helen Mae (Nell) Bishop passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 93. Nell was born October 18, 1909 in Stonewall and received her education there. She has resided in Winnipeg since 1938. Nell was the eldest daughter of Cliff and Sadie Bishop. She was predeceased by her parents; brother Charles; sisters, Dorothy and Lillian. Nell was employed at the Rosa Lee Hat shop for a number of years as a milliner, and then at Kresges until her retirement. Left to remember Nell are her brother Jack Bishop of Winnipeg; her sister Emily Buck of Stonewall; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. A memorial service will be held January 13 at 3:00 p.m. at Riverview Health Centre. Interment will take place at a later date in Stonewall. Rev. Glen Horst will officiate. The family wish to thank all the staff on C4 Riverview for the wonderful care extended to Nell these many years, and the compassionate and sensitive manner they extended to the family.
