GLEN (ROBBIE) ROBSON October 29, 1918 - January 8, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing, at home, of our beloved husband, father, Grampa and Great-Grampa at the age of 84. We are grateful for the wonderful memories he has left us and for his legacy of faith and love. He leaves to mourn, his beloved wife of 56 years, Jean; sons, Gary (Heather) and David (Sue) and daughters, Pat (El) McCallum of Pitt Meadows, BC, Wendy (Brian) Clark, Kerry (Doug) Kowalski and Janet (John) Janzen, all of Winnipeg, 13 much loved grandchildren and five precious great-grandchildren; brother Ralph of Vancouver and sisters, Leah Taylor and Mary Wray of Winnipeg, many nieces, nephews and close friends. Glen was a lifetime member of the Salvation Army, spent six years overseas with the P.P.C.L.I., 30 years service with the Winnipeg Police Department and five years as a councillor at the Salvation Army rehabilitation centre. Glen was a kind, gentle person with a unique sense of humour that endeared him to all who knew him. His family was his world and he was never happier than when they were around. He loved travelling, the outdoors, fishing and golfing and took up bowling at 80 years of age. Hell live in our hearts forever and is now safe in the arms of the Lord he loved. At Glens request, his body has been donated to medical science. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Boniface Research Foundation or the Salvation Army Hampton Citadel. A celebration of Glens life will be held on Sunday, January 12 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hampton Citadel, 221 Hampton St.
