Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERA MAY AMBLER Peacefully, on Friday January 10, 2003 at the Health Sciences Centre, Vera passed away at the age of 81 years. She is survived by her loving husband James; daughter Shirley (Jerry) Willis; grandchildren, Ken (Vangie), Wayne (Trisha), Cheryl (Robert) six great-grandchildren, Kyle, Brendan, Ocean, Payton, Ryne and Raisa. Vera is also survived by her sister Doris (Mike) Magnusson of Calgary, and brother Ray (Linda) Burdett of Steinbach. Vera was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Florence and her brother Wally. Vera was born in England in 1921, moving to Winnipeg at the age of five, where she grew up. Vera married James in 1940 and spent 62 happy years together. They spent 23 years in New Zealand, before coming back to reside in Winnipeg. Mom will be sadly missed by all her family. At her request, there will be no formal service.
