HENRY FRIESEN Following a lengthy and courageous battle, it is with great sadness we announce the death of Henry Friesen. Henry passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2003 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 67 years. Henry was born in the Gretna area on February 17, 1935 to Nettie and Jake Friesen. Henry is survived by his loving wife, Lilly; one son, Robert; two daughters, Brenda and Beverly; his father, Jake; one sister, Elma (Martin) and their family; one brother, Peter (Jeanette) and their family; aunts, uncles and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Henry was predeceased by his mother in 2002. The family wishes to thank Dr. B.W. Komenda, nurses and staff at Concordia Hospital for their loving and dedicated care. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. with Rev. Carl Heppner officiating. Viewing at the chapel prior to the service. Interment in Brookside Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
