HERTHA HESS It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Hertha Hess, after a brief illness, with her family by her side on January 9, 2003 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 69. She was predeceased by her son Joergen Hess. Hertha is survived by her daughter Joy; sons, Jan (Maria), Johnny (Leanne), Jack (Ramona) four grandchildren, Chris, Amy, Rebecca and Joergen. Hertha was a strong woman whose home was always open. She loved her family, friends, and of course her sports. She will be sorely missed by those who knew her, but not forgotten. A special thanks to the nurses and staff on the 5th Floor of Seven Oaks Hospital for your care and all your efforts. The family would like to invite you to a graveside service being held on Tuesday, January 14 at 10:00 a.m., in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. Please meet at the funeral home prior to service. Hallo Jan, Johnny, Jack and Joy. I'm very sorry to hear about your mother and father. My name is Anni Hundeboell and I'm from Denmark. My father is Mogens Pedersen, he is your cousin. His mother was Henny Pedersen, your mother's sister. I don't know if you are ever going to see this but if you do, I would be very happy to hear from you.
