JOYCE SHEILA ELLSWORTH (nee STANSFIELD) On Saturday, January 11, 2003, after a lengthy illness, Joyce passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital. She is survived by her daughter Janet (Ted Roberts) son Mark; and grandchildren, Michael, Chris and Sarah Roberts. She was predeceased by her husband Harry, in 1985. Joyce was born in Hearst, ON and grew up in Cochrane. She joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Summerside, PEI during the Second World War, where she met her husband. After living for 12 years in Montreal, the family moved to Winnipeg in 1957. Joyce worked for many years as an office manager for Dr. V.K. Horbay until her retirement. Joyce will be sadly missed by her many friends here in Winnipeg and across Canada. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 16, at 1:30 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway.
