MAE MAJOR (GOETZ) (nee IRWIN) Peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2003, at the Lions Prairie Manor, Mae, of Portage la Prairie, widow of the late Frank Major and widow of the late George Goetz, passed away at the age of 94 years, with her family at her side. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the Omega Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Haywood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the CNIB, Manitoba Division, 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 9Z9, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Catherine Newham-Portage Office, 103 Wilkinson Cres., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1A7.
