Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDITH EDNA RYRIE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mum, Edna, at the age of 79 on Sunday, January 12, 2003 surrounded by her loving family, after a valiant struggle with her illness. Cherished wife of the late Jim (April 1985) and loving mother of Sandra, Janet, Jean and Jack. Mother-in-law and fondly remembered by Sherry Ryrie, Bob Morisseau, Warren Kenyon and Bob Moynham. Loving grandmother of seven grandchildren, Darren, Sean and Troy Kenyon, Michelle Baron, Scott, Casey, Chad Ryrie. Great-grandmother of four, Zackery and Lynzee Kenyon, Kaitlin and Alisha Kenyon. Also survived by four sisters, Lila, Doreen, Geraldine and Eva; two brothers, Arnold and Garnett. Edna was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Edith Madden; one sister Mabel; and three brothers, Tom, Bazil and Don. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the Elm Creek United Church, with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating, with interment to follow in the Elm Creek Cemetery. Viewing will be on Tuesday 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Doyles Funeral Chapel, of Carman. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Carman Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Box 610, Carman, MB R0G 0J0 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. The family would like to thank the Carman Hospital staff, Palliative caregivers, Elm Creek Manor residents and all her friends and neighbours for all the love, care and support that Mum received. Rest in Peace, Mum! We love you!
