JANET RONDEAU 1930 - 2003 It is with heartfelt sorrow the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Jan died January 14, 2003 at Riverview Health Centre after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving memories of Jan will be cherished by her four daughters, Carol Dineen (Dave), Laura McFarlane (Gene), Lisa Hamonic, Brenda Button (Rick) granddaughters, Kelly, Carly, Melissa and grandsons, Jason, Trevor, Kyle, Jesse, Joshua, Travis and Jared and Bump. She is also survived by her three sisters, Lorraine Briggs, Loretta Peppler and Ruth Friesen; four brothers, Don Desjarlais (Toronto), Dan Huppe, Douglas Huppe (Calgary) and Ron Huppe and many numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed by her special aunt, Aunty Dolly and cousin Jean Pierre Desjarlais. Jan was predeceased by her husband Ray; her brother Leo Desjarlais; her sister Cecile Rondeau and by a son-in-law Gerry Hamonic. Mom was a loving and giving woman who always put others before herself. Her greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren to whom she was devoted. Her sense of humour and kind nature endeared her to all who knew her. A celebration of Jans life will be held on Saturday, January 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. The family extends a special thanks to the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their kindness and compassion given to Jan during her stay there.
