HELEN SWIATKEWICH 1924 - 2003 Helen Swiatkewich of Kamloops, BC passed away on January 9, 2003 at 79 years of age in Royal Inland Hospital. She is survived by her loving children, Rose (Steven) of Hudson, ON, Gordon (Bernice) of Edmonton, AB, Carolann (Wallace) of Winnipeg and Don (Rosemary) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Murray, Jim, Deb, Craig, Tracy and Terri; great-grandchildren, April, Paige Brooklyn, Bryce, Carter Jackson and Jadon Tanner; and her sister Roma Gaylord. Helen was born in Krydor, SK and was predeceased by her husband Peter. Rest in Peace Dear Mother. May you lay your weary head to rest, forever enfolded in the arms of Jesus Christ. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18 at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Dr. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Allan F. Noonan O.M.I. officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated as flowers are gratefully declined.
