Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWEBSTER JOHN ALEXANDER Webster John Alexander of White Rock, BC passed away peacefully on January 11, 2003. Born December 14, 1913 in Winnipeg, he will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Judy Swanson of White Rock; granddaughters, Amy Berning of Jasper, AB and Erica Swanson of White Rock; and great-granddaughter Grace Berning. He was predeceased by his wife Mona in 1999; his sister Margaret; and brothers, Frank and Alec also predeceased him. John or Jack, as he was known, had a long and distinguished career with CPR in Winnipeg beginning in 1928. During the Second World War he served in the RCAF before resuming his duties at CPR. He retired as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President for the prairie region in 1975 and moved to White Rock. A private memorial service is planned.
