CYNTHIA CORNELL March 9, 1943 - January 14, 2003 On January 14, 2003, Mum embarked on the next leg of her journey. Her spirit will follow the brightest light and she will again be among us. Left to celebrate her life are her children, Sharon (Brian), Darren, Christopher (Susan). Grandchildren, Kyle, Natalie, Lana, Jeremy, Joshua and Julia; and many special people in her life. Trevor, Nancy, Chris, John, Joanne, Karen and Alison of Winnipeg; sister-in-law Maureen; and nephews, Andrew and Stuart; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Michael; and niece Alison; and friend Elizabeth, all in England. Mum was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Mary Wales; and brother Ernest Wales. A celebration of Mums life will take place on Monday, January 20 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cynthias memory to Education for Oncology at Victoria General Hospital, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 2E8. Many thanks to Dr. Maxwell, Dr. Jay, Ann, Astrid, Penny and Jackie for all the special care and help to Mum and our family.
