Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAGNES CATHERINE FLOWER (nee CAMPBELL) Agnes Catherine Flower (nee Campbell) passed away on January 16, 2003 at the St. Boniface General Hospital. Agnes was born in Winnipeg on October 10, 1918 and, with the exception of four years during the 60 when the family moved to Port Credit, ON, resided in Winnipeg and St. Vital her whole life. Agnes married Sub-Lieutenant Dick Flower (RCNVR) on April 10, 1943 and was predeceased by Dick on November 2, 1991. She was also predeceased by her father Roderick Campbell and mother Sara Campbell (nee Bell). Agnes is survived by her loving daughter Cathy, St. Vital; son Jim (Kathleen), Halifax; and grandsons, Jamie, Halifax, and Christopher, Montreal; and also numerous cousins. During the 1940s Agnes worked for Canada Packers and during the 50s, 60s, and 70s, Fraser Art Supplies. She was a member of the St. Judes Church WA and taught Sunday School at St. Judes and later at St. Marks Anglican Church. She was also a member of Queen Esther Rebekah Lodge No.2. Agnes bowled with the Elm Park Ladies League for many years and also enjoyed her frequent lunches with the Saint Andrews basketball team friends. She also enjoyed her activities with the Winnipeg South YM/YWCA, the Tache Seniors day program, and the High Steppers Club. A funeral service for Agnes will be conducted by Rev. Ian Peterson on Tuesday, January 21, 12:00 p.m. at St. Marks Anglican Church, at St. Marks Place and Major Drive, St. Vital, followed by a reception in the church hall.
