My grandmother,Joan Gunn was very proud of her son. She told me he was 14 years old when he signed up to serve in WW1. Uncle Ted was actually called Ted because of my grandmother's sewing machine, which was a Ted (or Theodore?) I have a card or two that he sent from overseas to her, and a picture of him in uniform. Though I only talked to him once, I found him to be a very gentle man and I wish I'd met him. - Posted by: Pat Neibergall (I am his neice. My mother Ada was his sister.
